About Love Wood Furniture - who we are and how we create our handmade kitchens and furniture

Love Wood’s bespoke kitchens and furniture are the work of one man: Clive Leacock.  Turning  top-quality wood and a design on paper into furniture isn’t a job for Clive; it's his passion.  Originally from Watford, Clive and his family moved to Yorkshire in the 1990’s working with a number of local companies before creating Love Wood Furniture in 2007.  Love Wood is now based from a renovated stone barn looking over the Midhope moors.

Clive’s reputation for excellence even extends to the film world, as seen with the Warner Brothers-produced “Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone”.  Clive worked at Leavesden studios in Hertfordshire building sets and furniture featured in the film.

When you contact Love Wood we will make an appointment to come and visit you to talk about your ideas and expectations, and take measurements.  We will then go away and work out a price which includes different options of wood and styles.  We will always look for the best solution that meets your needs - and that doesn’t mean the most expensive solution.  You will be offered to see some of Clive’s work and when you’re completely happy with the proposed design and would like to pay a deposit  we’ll ask you for 30% of the total price and a fitting date agreed.

From installation of kitchens to project managing , Clive fits all his own work and also uses the best plumbers and electricians.  We have good relationships with a number of highly skilled worktop suppliers, tilers and plasterers, so you can be sure your fitting will be as smooth as possible.
